Krissy's Guest Blog-Space Mountain

"My name is Krissy, I am 15 years old. I have Asperger's Syndrome which is also on the Autism Spectrum. I am guest blogging about Space Mountain, since Kay was afraid to ride it."

"Space Mountain is located in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom which is truly magical. Space mountain isn't your typical mountain, it's a large structure that looks to me like a space station. When you enter, you step into the line, depending on how long the line is, it can be quite noisy or very quiet. After waiting in line for a bit you come to the ride vehicles which are single seated and look like rockets. There is a t-shaped bar to secure you in and there are little pouches in front of you to place your stuff in. You turn the corner and go through this awesome light tunnel that makes you feel like you are going into hyperspace. You make your ascent and then you pick up speed. The ride is mostly in the dark, so you can't really see what turns or dips lie ahead of you. There are some light sources in the form of stars on the walls and ceiling. This ride was fun, I loved it! I would recommend this ride to people who like space, those who like roller coasters and people who aren't afraid of the dark."
